person scramble.
Lunch, green’s fees and prizes for
1st through 4th, long drives and gift
certificates are included in the entry
fee of $50.00.
Cart transportation is x’tra.

too would be greatly appreciated.

Originally the Lynn Darling Memorial
Tournament was intended to be a sport’s
generated tournament to support the baskeball
programs at the Schroon Lake Central. With
Lynn’s untimely passing, the focus of the
tournament was changed to support SLCS
graduating seniors who go on to a two year, four
year or technical school of higher learning.
The trio of Carmine Decker, Fred Fleming, and
Jerry McDonald set up the ground work for this
time honored scholarship.
After some 13 years the program has awarded
over $10,000 to deserving SLCS seniors.
Mones come from the annual tournament,
generous contributions from the Darling family,
friends and businesses of Schroon Lake and
surrounding communities.
Without their help and the kindness of the town
and the hard work of the golf crew the good that
comes from this endeavor would not be
possible.
Each year on the last saturday in July the
tournament is held in Lynn’s honor.
